2022 Important Dates and Meeting Schedule

Here is the meeting schedule for the 2022 season. All meetings will be held at Richards Pub (12150 161 Ave NW) and start at 7:30pm.

These meetings are mandatory and failure to attend may result in a $50 fine.  All payments (including deposits) must be made by certified cheque, bank draft or money order and made payable to the “Edmonton Flag Football Association”.  Personal cheques and cash will NOT be accepted.

March 10th, 2022 - General meeting (ALL teams).

• A deposit of $300 is required to reserve a spot for your team.
• Any outstanding fines from the 2021 season must also be paid before teams will be guaranteed a spot for the 2022 season.
• Update from executive on league issues with general discussion.
• Any questions or concerns on the 2022 season can be addressed at this time.
• This meeting will be held at Richards Pub (12150 161 Ave NW) and start at 7:30pm.

April 14th, 2022 - General meeting (ALL teams).

• The remaining balance of your league fees is due.
• A performance bond of $200 is due.
• Final rosters are required to be submitted.
• Any rule or regulation changes for the 2022 season will be voted on.
• Any questions or concerns on the 2022 season can be addressed at this time.
• This meeting will be held at Richards Pub (12150 161 Ave NW) and start at 7:30pm.

April 25th - 29th 2022 - Final schedule released.

May 2nd - 13th, 2022 - Referee clinics (dates to be confirmed).

May 16th, 2022 - 2022 season starts.

June 17th, 2022 - Rescheduled games program date (tentative).

July 15th, 2022 - Rescheduled games program date (tentative).

August 2nd, 2022 - Weekday gametimes changed to 6:00 and 7:30.

August 20th, 2022 - Change to weekend games.

September 7th, 2022 - Rescheduled games program date (tentative).

September 15th, 2022 - Annual General Meeting (ALL teams).

• Playoff rosters and schedule will be verified and confirmed.
• All outstanding fines are required to be paid (failure to do so will result in your team not being allowed to participate in playoffs).
• Elections for the 2023 league executive will be held.
• This meeting will be held at Richards Pub (12150 161 Ave NW) and start at 7:30pm.

September 24th, 2022 - Playoff starts.

October 15th - 16th, 2022 - Provincials (tentative).
